access canva templates

You just purchased our Canva template, but not sure where to begin?

If you do not have an existing Canva account, you can sign up for a free one! You only need the free version to access your templates.

Once you are logged into your account, you can click on the shared link in our PDF. This will open the template in your account of the Canva app as shown in the image below. Click the purple button to access your template.

Yay! You have opened the template. It is time to edit.

Within the Canva template, you will be free to make the edits you desire.

If you want to start fresh, feel free to access the link to create a new template copy in your account.

Here are a few quick tips for editing:

Editing Text

  • Move a text box -> Click text box and drag

  • Edit text -> Double click the text box and then start typing

Editing Photo

  • Move a photo -> Click photo and drag

  • Change the photo -> Go to Uploads and upload your own photo. You will then drag the photo on top of the existing photo in the design

  • Edit the photo -> Double click the photo frame and then you are able to move the focus of the photo or edit the photo further in the left pane

You are happy with your edited Canva template and ready to download the file.

Depending on how you want to use your file, you will need to export the file accordingly.

Anything web related or shared through messages, we recommend downloading a PNG file. Following instructions below.

  1. At the top right corner, click the Share button.

  2. Click on Download.

  3. From the File Type drop-down menu, select PNG.

  4. Click Download.

Anything print related for best quality, we recommend downloading a PDF file.

  1. At the top right corner, click the Share button.

  2. Click on Download.

  3. From the File Type drop-down menu, select PDF Print.

  4. If you have Canva Pro, it is best to print with CMYK profile.
    From the Color Profile drop-down menu, select CMYK.

  5. Click Download.
